Motorcyclist dies in hospital after crash on Hwy. 174 Tuesday afternoon

A motorcyclist seriously injured in a crash on Highway 174 in Ottawa’s east end has died from his injuries in hospital, according to police.

Emergency crews responded to reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at approximately 2:35 p.m. Tuesday.

The motorcyclist was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Ottawa Police Service said Friday evening the motorcyclist died in hospital.
