Man treated for injuries after shooting in Ottawa’s Bayshore neighbourhood: paramedics

A man is being treated for serious injuries following a late-night shooting in Ottawa’s Bayshore neighbourhood.

Emergency crews responded to a call for a shooting around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on Woodridge Crescent, near Bayshore Drive.

The Ottawa Police Service says officers responding to reports of a shooting found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson tells CTV Morning Live a man in his late teens was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound and transported to hospital in serious but stable condition.

Police say the investigation continues.
