Kingston police say they arrested and charged a man following a drug bust late last month. According to a news release from police, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Wilson Street on July 31. Police say they seized 335 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 33 grams of cocaine, Canadian currency, packaging materials and a digital scale. As a result of the investigation, a 32-year-old Kingston resident has been charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance, possession of proceeds of crime and failure to comply with conditions of a court ordered release. “This investigation demonstrates Kingston Police’s ongoing commitment to disrupting the trafficking of illicit drugs and reducing the harm these substances cause within our community,” police said. Police say the individual was held in custody for a hearing.
