The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed west of Kingston this morning following a crash involving four transport trucks. Ontario Provincial Police say emergency vehicles responded to a multi-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 in the Greater Napanee area just before midnight. At 5 a.m., the OPP said the eastbound lanes will remain closed for “several more hours” between Palace Road in the Greater Napanee area and Lennox and Addington County Road 6 in Odessa. “Cleanup work continues following a collision involving four transport trucks and a van,” the OPP said on X. One person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
