Police have closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 417 near Casselman due to a spilled load of asphalt. Ontario Provincial Police say all lanes have been closed between Limoges Road to St. Albert Road between the communities of Limoges and Casselman. Motorists should plan alternate routes, OPP said in a social media post. The duration of the closure is unclear. As of 2:30 p.m., the highway remains closed.
