Police closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 417 near Casselman for about two hours on Monday due to a spilled load of asphalt on the road. Shortly after 1:35 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police said in a social media post all lanes were closed between Limoges Road and St. Albert Road. It’s unclear if any crash occurred. At 3:30 p.m., OPP said all lanes of the highway had reopened.
