A teenager in Cornwall, Ont. is facing several charges for allegedly possessing and sharing a nude image of a minor to others. Cornwall police say it began investigating a complaint involving the distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material at a high school in February. It’s alleged the youth possessed, distributed and shared a nude image of a person under the age of 18. A 14-year-old from Cornwall was arrested on Monday and charged with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and making sexually explicit material available to a person under 18 years of age. The youth cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The suspect has been held for a bail hearing.
