Ontario Provincial Police say a 43-year-old man from Carleton Place died in hospital following a motorcycle collision in Tay Valley Township on Friday. According to a news release from OPP, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Upper Scotch Line between Scotch Line and Allans Mill Road, which is approximately 10 kilometres southwest of Perth, Ont. Police say a 43-year-old man from Carleton Place was the lone rider of the motorcycle. The man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police are investigating the fatal collision and ask anyone with information or footage of the incident to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
