43-year-old man from Carleton Place dies following motorcycle crash

Ontario Provincial Police say a 43-year-old man from Carleton Place died in hospital following a motorcycle collision in Tay Valley Township on Friday.

According to a news release from OPP, at approximately 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Upper Scotch Line between Scotch Line and Allans Mill Road, which is approximately 10 kilometres southwest of Perth, Ont.

Police say a 43-year-old man from Carleton Place was the lone rider of the motorcycle. The man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
