The Ottawa Police Service says two people are facing charges in connection with a stabbing in Cumberland last week. Officers were called to a disturbance at a residence on Peter Harkness Lane on Aug. 28, where two people were found to have non-life-threatening injuries as a result of a dispute, police said. Two people were arrested at the scene. On Wednesday, police said a 45-year-old was charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon. A 22-year-old was charged with two counts of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm. The investigation remains ongoing.
