Rona and Rona Plus stores in Val Caron and Sudbury are assisting fundraising efforts for the annual CTV Lions Children’s Christmas Telethon in December. “For the fourth consecutive year, the Rona Foundation Home Sweet Home campaign will see teams across the company’s network mobilize to raise funds to support nearly 150 non-profit organizations throughout Canada, the company said in a news release. “Since it was created in 2023, the foundation has donated close to $2M to hundreds of organizations.” “This makes every donation between now and Oct. 12 meaningful, contributing to making a real impact at a local level, where it really matters,” said Catherine Laporte of the RONA Foundation. RONA customers can donate when they shop in store or online by selecting an amount of $2, $5 or $10. The CTV Children’s Lions Club Telethon is set for Dec. 5.
