Greater Sudbury police say a search warrant used Sunday in a joint drug investigation with the OPP led to the seizure of more than $50,000 in cocaine. Officers found cocaine, more than $3,500 in cash and a semi-automatic handgun on a Mississauga man and in his residence, police said in a release Aug. 26. The man has been charged with trafficking, possession of property, possession of a firearm and possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition and attended bail court Monday. Police urge anyone with drug trafficking information in the city to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
