Ontario Provincial Police charged a 39-year-old St. Charles man Saturday night following an intimate partner violence investigation. “At approximately 9:40 p.m., police responded to a disturbance at a residence in St. Charles and there were no reported injuries,” police said in a news release Monday. The man was charged with the careless use of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm. Police said the man was released from custody and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury later. If you or someone you know has experienced violence, call 911.
