Giant Tiger is closing another location in Winnipeg. A spokesperson for the shopping chain confirmed its location on 2195 Pembina Hwy. is shutting its doors on Feb. 28, 2027. “The decision to close any of our stores is not one we take lightly and is made following careful consideration and thorough analysis,” a Giant Tiger spokesperson said in a statement. “Our priority is to support our employees through this transition, and we are working directly with affected team members.” The company previously announced its location in downtown Winnipeg would be closing Nov. 7. The spokesperson said the company remains committed to Winnipeg and encourages customers to visit one of the other locations in Winnipeg or shop online.
