Shelter-in-place advisory ends for Parry Sound schools

Students at Parry Sound High School and Parry Sound Public School have been advised that a shelter-in-place advisory has been lifted.

“(Ontario) Provincial Police have informed Parry Sound High School that they can lift the shelter in place,” the Near North District School Board said on social media.

“School operations will continue as normal. End-of-day pick-up procedures, including school buses, will not be affected.”

The advisory had been imposed because of a fire near both schools.
