Nipissing West OPP charged a Pennsylvania woman with impaired driving Saturday after receiving a traffic complaint. At around 12:45 p.m., officers responded to a traffic complaint regarding a possible impaired driver travelling on Highway 17 in West Nipissing, police said in a news release Sept. 14. “Officers located and stopped the vehicle and a 49-year-old Carnegie, Pennsylvania woman arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving with an open container of liquor and driving without a permit,” police said. The woman is scheduled to appear in North Bay court Nov. 11. The woman’s driver’s licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
