Thunder Bay Police say a 22-year-old man faces several charges after an early morning collision in the city Monday. Police were called to the Balmoral and John streets area just before 4 a.m. after receiving a report of a motor vehicle collision, police said in a news release Tuesday. “Officers also located a male at the scene who identified himself as the driver of the vehicle,” police said. “Upon speaking to the male, officers observed multiple signs of impairment.” The man has been charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was released on an undertaking and has a future court appearance date.
