The number of Denny’s restaurants in Regina has now doubled. Regina now hosts two locations of the popular Canadian diner chain, with the newest addition opening its doors at 2665 Gordon Road on Tuesday. The new diner represents Saskatchewan’s fifth location. Regina’s original Denny’s opened in the city’s east end in 2004. “Regina has always been a great fit for the Denny’s Canada brand, and we’re thrilled to bring another diner to this incredible community,” Ron Cecillon, president and chief operating officer of Denny’s Canada, Bar One and UK & Ireland Restaurant Group, said in a statement. “For more than two decades, we’ve been proud to serve guests in Regina, and this new diner reflects our continued commitment to growing alongside the communities that have supported us for so many years.” The chain’s new Southland Mall location will offer Denny’s classics such as the Original Grand Slam, Lumberjack Slam and Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. Regina’s breakfast scene has added two new national competitors into the space in 2026: Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House and Saskatchewan’s first IHOP location in the north and east, respectively. Locally, Mr. Breakfast also reopened this year. A larger list of Regina breakfast spots can be found here. With files from Cole Davenport
