OPP seek public’s help identifying person, vehicles in ongoing Cochrane investigation

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest and two vehicles linked to incidents at a business along Highway 11 in Cochrane.

Investigators with the OPP James Bay detachments are looking to speak with an individual associated with two separate pickup trucks spotted at the location in January and February.

“Police believe the individual shown in the attached photos may have key information that could assist with an ongoing investigation,” the OPP said in a news release Tuesday.

The first vehicle was observed in the area at about 2:43 a.m. on Jan. 8. Police have described it as a black Dodge or Ford pickup truck.

A second vehicle, a white Ford heavy-duty pickup truck, was seen in the same area on Feb. 8 at approximately 9:22 p.m.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or the vehicles, or who has any information that may assist investigators, is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
