Ontario Provincial Police say a 64-year-old from Prince Edward Island is dead following a single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle on Monday in the Municipality of Markstay-Warren. OPP said officers responded to the scene on Boundary Road, north of Hagar, at about 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 31. “A 64-year-old person from Prince Edward Island was pronounced deceased at the scene,” OPP said in a news release. Ongoing investigation “The investigation remains ongoing,” said police. An OPP collision reconstructionist and the traffic collision investigation team are assisting with the investigation. Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation. No further details have been released.
