North Bay kicks off its centennial anniversary

North Bay will host the first of four centennial concerts and drone shows on June 6, as part of the city’s100th-anniversary celebrations.

The event will take place at the Kiwanis Bandshell on the North Bay Waterfront, featuring live performances by Jude Zapalla, Greg The Band and Shore Acres from 6:45-9:45 p.m.

At 10 p.m., a drone light show will launch from Shabogesic Beach, visible up to one kilometre away. The city recommends the grass area in front of the Kiwanis Bandshell for optimal viewing, including synchronized audio.

Shabogesic Beach will be closed to the public from 3-11:30 p.m. on June 6 for safety and setup, with restricted access and clear signage in place.

This marks the first of four centennial concert and drone show events scheduled throughout the summer.
