East Algoma OPP charged a 54-year-old Blind River man Wednesday with trespassing under the Mississauga First Nation community protection law. Police responded to a trespassing complaint Aug. 21 involving an individual residing at a residence on Village Road in the community of Mississauga First Nation, police said in a news release Thursday. “As a result of the investigation, police located and arrested the individual Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. on Causley Street in the Town of Blind River.” The accused appeared in court Wednesday in Blind River in relation to outstanding arrest warrants and was remanded into custody.
