North Bay OPP say a 39-year-old Norfolk County man picked the wrong time to get stuck in the mud in Nipissing Township late Saturday night. He’s been charged with impaired driving after officers responded to a call of a vehicle stuck in the mud, police said in a news release Tuesday. “A vehicle had become stuck in the mud on Granite Hill Road in Nipissing Township, where officers determined the driver had been consuming alcohol,” police said. “The driver was arrested and transported to the North Bay Police Service for further testing.” The man has been charged with impaired driving and is scheduled to appear in court in North Bay on Oct. 20. The driver received a 90-day licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
