The North Bay Police Service says it is investigating significant damage at Laurentian Ski Hill. Police said officers responded to a report on Sept. 15 after staff discovered extensive damage to copper piping running from a pump house to a cooling system used to produce snow. “It is believed the damage occurred sometime between Sept. 1 and 15,” police said in a news release Friday. Police said the damage is estimated to exceed $50,000. Ongoing investigation “The investigation remains ongoing,” police said. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident, or who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage from the area during the timeframe, to contact North Bay police at 705-497-5555, selecting option 5 to speak with an officer.
