WINNIPEG - Two more cases of West Nile virus in humans have been confirmed in Manitoba, bringing the total of positive tests in the province this year to four.

The age, gender and home towns of the latest victims have not been released.

The first case this year was a 50-year-old man from Winnipeg.

The medical health officer says the average number of infected mosquitoes remains lower in all regions than for this time last year.
