20 students in hospital after school bus, truck collide in Quebec City

At least 20 students are in hospital after their school bus collided with a semi-truck on Thursday morning.

The incident happened just after 11.a.m. on Route 271 in Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur-d’Issoudun, south of Quebec City.

Five students were transported to hospital on stretchers, and the other 15 were taken as a precautionary measure.

The bus driver suffered minor injuries, and the driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

There were no reported serious injuries, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
