Six arrested after gunfire exchanged between two cars in RDP

Montreal police (SPVM) arrested two women and four men after gunfire was exchanged between two cars.

The SPVM received several 911 calls around 6 p.m. about gunshots on Perras Boulevard near Saint-Jean-Baptist Boulevard in the Riviere-des-Prairies neighbourhood.

Officers found a car that had been targeted by gunfire with two women aged 18 and 20 inside. The two were not injured.

A second vehicle was found in Laval with four men who were also not injured.

All involved were arrested and will be interviewed by investigators, along with several witnesses.

A perimeter was set up and the investigation is ongoing.
