The Quebec actor Goûchy Boy pleaded guilty after hurling his walker at Journal de Montreal photographer Pierre Paul Poulin. Chijoke Onyechekwa Ugochukwu, 54, was charged with assault with a weapon and intent to harass on May 8, 2024, shortly before he was sentenced to 21 months for sexual assault against a woman in an intimate partner violence case at the Longueuil Courthouse. The confrontation was caught on video, in which he swore at the photographer. “Get out of my way,” he said as special constables descended on the scene and arrested him. Sexual assault charge stems from a 2018 assault in Brossard at a motel. Goûchy Boy once played the role of a prison warden on the TV series Unité 9 and has appeared on several other television shows and films. He will be back in court for sentencing on the two charges on March 25.
