An early morning collision near Moncton has left a man dead. On Sunday around 4 a.m., the Shediac RCMP said officers were called to a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on Route 15 in Lakeville, N.B. According to police, the driver was heading east when they struck a pedestrian. The 47-year-old man from Shediac died at the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled. Police said no other injuries were reported at the time of the collision. Route 15 was closed for approximately six hours while investigators processed the scene, but it has since reopened.
