A man with reduced mobility was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle on Montreal’s South Shore. Longueuil police (SPAL) said that at around 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a call prompted officers to respond to Jean-Paul-Vincent Boulevard at Métropole Street. “The man was taken to the hospital for serious injuries,” the SPAL said. Later in the evening, police said that the man’s condition had stabilized and authorities no longer feared for his life. Roads in the area were reopened at around 8 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
