An accidental fire ignited at an encampment in Longueuil’s Greenfield Park borough, south of Montreal, early Wednesday morning. Longueuil police (SPAL) says it received a 911 call just before 6:20 a.m. about the flames on Churchill Boulevard near Taschereau Boulevard. After investigation, the force notes that the fire was accidentally set. It did not provide further details. Taschereau Boulevard in the area has been reopened to traffic.
