A 35-year-old man who was struck by a car while riding an electric scooter on Monday afternoon in Trois-Rivières has died from his injuries. Trois-Rivières police confirmed the man’s death on Tuesday morning in a statement, adding that its investigation into the cause leading up to the collision is ongoing. Police were called at 1:50 p.m. to the incident, at the junction of Saint-François-Xavier and Sainte-Geneviève streets. The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
