Two people treated for smoke inhalation in west London apartment fire

Crews were on scene in downtown London on Wednesday, battling a kitchen fire in an apartment building.

Two people were taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation after an apartment fire in west London.

Fire crews responded to the kitchen fire on Riverside Drive near Murdock Street. They said there was heavy smoke inside the building.

The building was evacuated and the flames were quickly brought under control.
