Police appeal for other victims to come forward after personal support worker charged with sexual assault

A personal support worker has been charged after London police allege he sexually assaulted a patient in his care last fall.

According to a news release, London police say in September 2025 a personal support worker sexually assaulted a male patient who was recovering from surgery at Victoria Hospital.

The victim informed staff, and police were subsequently contacted.

Police say the victim and suspect were not known to each ither.

The investigation was reassigned to the LPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section, and a suspect male was identified.

On Feb. 20, the suspect turned himself into London Police Service headquarters.

As a result of the investigation, Marvin Edilberto Ramos, 41, of London, has been charged with one count of sexual assault for his alleged involvement.

The accused is scheduled to appear in London court on March 26, 2026 in relation to the charge.

Investigators believe that there may be additional victims and are appealing to members of the public to come forward.
