One dead after Minto fire

One person has died after a fire in Minto.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, emergency services were called to a fire on Minto-Normanby Townline.

Inside, a 75 year old was found. They were taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.

The fire was brought under control, and an investigation was begun into the incident.
