A 27-year-old London man was arrested by members of the LPS Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit in relation to possession of suspected child pornography. Officers launched an investigation in July, after members of the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) made them aware of information involving a London man dating back to 2020 involving multiple online applications. On Wednesday, Aug. 13, a search warrant was executed at a residence on King Street. A male suspect was arrested. Police seized electronic devices. Police say evidence of suspected child pornography was located on the devices. As a result of the investigation, the London man has been charged with one count of unlawfully possess child pornography. The accused remains in custody and is expected to appear in London court on Sept. 18.
