London police say a pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after they were hit by someone driving a taxi. Officers were seen inspecting the damage to the vehicle, and a smashed windshield was visible. According to police, the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. while the pedestrian was crossing Wharncliffe Road south of Oxford Street. Police closed all four lanes for their investigation.
