‘Intensely humid’ Wednesday with the chance for thunderstorms

Waking up to a chance of showers Wednesday morning, but we’ll break into a mix of sun and cloud later on.

“There’s still the chance for a few thunderstorms as we head through the day,” warned CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “The high 30. It’ll feel like 39 this afternoon. Intensely humid across the southern Ontario.”

Atchison says unsettled conditions will continue, especially just north of London, Ont., with showers bubbling up throughout the day.

Another round of rainfall is on its way for Thursday, and the humidity will persist until the end of the weekend.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and cloud. 40 per cent chance of showers early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm. Fog patches dissipating in the morning. Wind becoming west 20 km/h late in the morning. High 30. Humidex 39. UV index 9 or very high.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. Risk of a thunderstorm. Wind west 20 km/h becoming south 20 in the evening. Low 21.

Thursday: A mix of sun and cloud with 60 per cent chance of showers. High 31.

Friday: Cloudy with 40 per cent chance of showers. High 27.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud. High 27.

Sunday: A mix of sun and cloud with 30 per cent chance of showers. High 25.
