Police say a weapons call at Western University on Monday may have been a case of swatting. Police in tactical gear with automatic weapons were part of a large police response to Weldon library around 3 p.m. According to police, investigators quickly determined the call was a hoax but continued the investigation and a search of the area out of an abundance of caution. They say the investigation remains ongoing as they try to determine the identity of the caller.
