Five suspects have been let off with warnings after a weapons incident in Tillsonburg. Oxford OPP said they were called on Wednesday with a report of people in a vehicle pulling weapons on Broadway. The vehicle was found around 10:30 p.m. and the suspects were arrested. The weapons were identified as toy guns, leading to the suspects, ranging from 16 to 20 years old, being let off with warnings. OPP reminds that displaying anything that looks like a weapon in public is likely to lead to a call for police and it causes unnecessary stress for officers responding and the community.
