Local real estate officials say home sales picked up last month. According to the London St. Thomas Realtors Association (LSTAR), 410 homes sold in February, up from 341 in January. On a year-to-year basis however, home sales are down nearly 20 per cent. LSTAR officials say the region’s average sale price was down slightly, at about $620,000.
