An investigation is underway following the collision of an e-bike and a vehicle that claimed the life of the cyclist late last week. According to a news release, on May 15 at approximately 3 p.m., emergency crews responded to a collision involving an e-bike in the area of Brydges Street and Egerton Street. Police say the cyclist was transported to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries and has since succumbed to those injuries. The involved driver remained on scene. The investigation has been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section and is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area on May 15 between 2:45 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. and may have witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, to please contact London police.
