OPP have identified the victim of a single-vehicle crash that happened on Mount Elgin Road near Ingersoll around 9 a.m. on Monday. OPP, fire and paramedic services responded to the collision involving a pickup truck, on Mount Elgin Road just west of Dereham Line near Ingersoll. According to police, a pickup truck left the roadway and collided with a concrete bridge embankment. The driver, a 73 year old of Tillsonburg suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene. OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is assisting with the investigation. Mount Elgin Road was closed between Culloden Line and Dereham Line until early Monday afternoon, but has since reopened.
