Guelph Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole an SUV and then drove it into a hydro pole. On Thursday, a white Nissan Rogue was taken from the parking lot at Stone Road Mall. Police said, just after 7 p.m., a crash was reported at Imperial Road South and Paisley Road. Witnesses explained that the male driver running off before officers arrived on scene. He was described as white and in his late 20s or early 30s. The man was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts and flip-flops. Police said he also had a brown leather jacket that had been left in the vehicle by the owner.
