Police looking for suspects after Guelph business break-in

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a business in the city’s east end was broken into early Saturday morning.

Officers were called to a business near Victoria Road South and York Road at approximately 3:35 a.m. Police said they arrived minutes later to find a glass door smashed.

According to police, security video shows two men entering the business and placing items into a large, wheeled bag.

“Officers followed footprints away from the business and recovered the bag containing a large amount of stolen product abandoned in deep snow nearby,” police explained in a media release.

One suspect was described as wearing a black ski jacket with the hood up, grey cargo pants, a black balaclava and running shoes. The second suspect was wearing a dark winter jacket and a light-coloured hoodie with the hood up.
