Guelph Police are asking drivers to check their tires for damage. On Monday, around 4:30 p.m., a passerby noticed hundreds of screws strewn across the intersection at Woodlawn Road West at Royal Road. Police believe they fell from a passing vehicle. The intersection was shut down for about an hour while crews picked up the screws. Police did not say if any damage had been reported.
