A Guelph woman was arrested more than a week after she was allegedly involved in a hit and run. The collision happened at Edinburgh Road North and London Road on Sept. 8. The Guelph Police Service said the driver of an SUV abruptly changed lanes and hit another vehicle. Both drivers spoke to each other briefly, then the driver of the SUV took off. Investigators said they made the identification after reviewing security video of the crash and tracking the SUV to the city’s west-end. The driver, 46-year-old woman from Guelph, was charged with failing to stop after an accident, dangerous driving and driving while prohibited.
