A man from Guelph has been arrested as part of an investigation into repeated business break-ins. The first incident happened just before midnight on Saturday, when an IT person working for the Quebec Street business said they saw someone on the building’s cameras trying to pry open a rear door. Guelph Police Service officers went to the business, but the suspect was already gone. Pry marks were spotted around the back door’s lock, and a small amount of cash had been taken. On Sunday morning, staff said the building had been entered a second time around 6:20 a.m. On Wednesday, a 35-year-old Guelph man was arrested and charged with two counts each of break and enter and wearing a disguise.
