A series of threats involved a man having a knife held to his throat and groin has led to the arrest of a Guelph man. Guelph Police say the incident happened at a shared residence on July 14, where a man was playing video games when another man began threatening him. This led to the suspect holding a knife to the victim’s throat and groin before walking away. On Tuesday afternoon, a 50-year-old Guelph man was arrested for assault with a weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats, and breach of probation.
