The Waterloo Regional Police Service has arrested a man wanted as part of a bank card fraud investigation in Kitchener. On August 1, police were told a bank card had been fraudulently used. Police said two suspects used to card to buy over $400 worth of merchandise from a business on Highland Road West. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for a 40-year-old Waterloo man. On October 5, he was arrested by patrol officers.
