Two people were hurt in a serious collision in Wellesley Township. Emergency responders were called to a head-on collision on Gerber Road on Tuesday around 6:32 p.m. The Waterloo Regional Police Service said the driver of a Honda, a 27-year-old woman, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver of a Hyundai, a 59-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Gerber Road was closed for several hours and the investigation is ongoing. There has been no word on any potential charges or what caused the crash.
