Brant County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a theft at a home in St. George. A homeowner called police around 9 p.m. Friday to report a break and enter that happened around 2:30 p.m. Officers who spoke with the woman at her home on Glen Morris Road were told she had been asleep after working a night shift when an unknown person opened an unlocked back patio door and took her purse. The purse has been described as a small black handbag, approximately 9” by 7”, with no visible brand markings. Surveillance footage captured images of a male suspect. Anyone with more information is urged to contact police.
